“Miss Linda” Twiss Gioscia

has studied with well-known instructors in both the Boston and Los Angeles area. While in L.A., she had intensive study with Joe Tremaine, one of the country’s leading jazz dance artists. She has competed nationally and danced with Jeanette Neill’s Dance Company Boston.

Teaching for other studios in L.A., Cambridge, Brockton, Quincy, and East Bridgewater has made her a well-rounded and sought-after instructor. Miss Linda’s dancing helped her to become Miss Brockton in 1984 and her competition team has won choreography and top score awards regionally and nationally. She is a member of the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston and past membership examiner. She is also a member, past president and secretary of the Greater Brockton Dance Teachers’ Association. Miss Linda takes classes to stay current in the dance profession as well as keeping up on all the dance journals, books, and periodicals. She has been featured in Dance Studio Life.

“Miss Nicole” Carey

is a former student and former co-worker of Miss Linda. Both women studied at The Denise Buote Dance Studio in Brockton and then went on to teach there. Miss Nicole has competed nationally and performed in a local music video as well as performing with the Brockton Symphony Orchestra. In the Summer, she teaches for Arts for Youth at Bridgewater State College She is also a member of the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston, past secretary and President of the Greater Brockton Dance Teachers’ Association. Miss Nicole does double duty working in our office too.

“Miss Kerry-Anne” Maalouf

has owned and operated her own dance studio in Hyde Park. Some of her students have gone on to perform on Broadway! Miss Kerry-Anne is also a wonderful singer/dancer with the premier traveling group “Masquerade.” She is also a member of the Greater Brockton Dance Teachers’ Association and studies with Charlie Holbrook who is a teacher at Dean College, the University of Rhode Island, and the Boston Conservatory.

“Miss Brittany” Lamont

also does double duty working in the office as well as teaching. She has studied dance at the Performance Dance Center since she was a little girl, having also danced with our competition group.  She has assisted in the classroom for years and got her bachelor’s degree at Bridgewater State University with a Masters degree at American International College for Moderate Disabilities for pre-k to 8th grade.  She now teaches at  Academy Ave Elementary School in Weymouth.

“Miss Clarisse” Beauvais

Clarisse started her Performing Arts training at the age of four at Riverside Theater Works in Boston, MA. It was there she discovered her passion for dance under the instruction of Kerry-Anne Mulrey-Maalouf. She has also taken classes taught by Diane Walker, Josh Hilburn, Sean “Shizz” Fielder and others.

Clarisse’s extensive dance training has afforded her opportunities to compete and perform nationally. She has also been featured in various television broadcasts.

In addition to Clarisse’s passion for the arts, she loves to travel. Her frequent travels have allowed her to train at some of the most prominent dance studios across the nation such as, Broadway Dance Center in NYC, Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio in Los Angeles, Dance 101 in Atlanta and more.

When Clarisse is not dancing, she devotes her time to Corporate Philanthropy and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

 
 

“Miss Emma” Wilson

Miss Emma is an alumnus of Performance Dance Center, where she began her training at the age of 4 and attributes much of her passion for dance to Miss Linda and Kerri Anne. Emma earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance at the esteemed Joan Phelps Palladino School of dance in 2020. She focused her studies in Dance Composition, Pedagogy and Creative Movement. Emma’s repertoire for dance education includes but is not limited to tap, jazz, modern, contemporary and several ballroom styles. While her passion lies with Dance Education, she also specializes in choreography. Her platinum winning choreography has been presented at several state and regional levels, where they awarded her team 2nd place. Her professional performance opportunities include performing at the Patriots Gillette Stadium as well as a background dancer in the Netflix original series “The Society.”
